As a Manufacturing Technician - Apprentice, you will be responsible for fabricating, trimming, and finishing composite aircraft components and assemblies. You will perform work to engineering drawings and specifications while ensuring quality and precision. This role is hands-on, requires high attention to detail, and plays a direct part in producing world-class aircraft.  Key Responsibilities Include: Use hands to cut, place, and manipulate composite materials such as carbon fiber and fiberglass. degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Use hand tools to sand, trim, and drill cured composite structures. Use common measuring and inspection devices to ensure components are made to exact specifications. Clean and inspect production tooling to validate they are acceptable for use. Apply body filler products. Knowledge of cleaning, prepping, and releasing molds Using a high attention to detail, sand, and shape surfaces to prepare them for primer and painting operations. Utilize FOD prevention techniques on a continual basis. Complete checklists of own work and check other’s work as necessary. Comply with all company policies on safe work practices. Frequently work while walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, laying, and reaching  Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Hands-on mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Physical ability to work standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting as required. Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.  Preferred Qualifications: 1–5 years of experience in aerospace, composites, or advanced manufacturing. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices. Experience with body shop/paint environment or tooling fabrication.  Your Career Path: After your apprenticeship, the typical career path for a Manufacturing Technician at Game Aerospace follows the progression below: Manufacturing Technician I Basic level of proficiency within their assigned work center. Able to work independently most of the time. Capable of training others on simple tasks and can flex to new work cells with minimal training or oversight.  Manufacturing Tech II Operates independently on all tasks associated with the work center and can train others on most functions. Demonstrates productivity across multiple work centers that require different skill sets.  Lead Manufacturing Tech Working level leadership position that is focused on quality and productivity within their area. They are skilled at training and coaching others at all aspects of their work center.
