Production Operator

Description

Arkansas Sign and Banner is a successful sign manufacturing, installation, and service company located in Bentonville, AR. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of our operation while learning and gaining valuable hands-on experience in print and sign production.

Responsibilities: 

• Participate in the preparation and installation of vinyl, including weeding, masking, trimming, application, and other related processes.
• Load and properly position materials into printers, plotters, routers, and other production equipment.
• Use and maintain the laminator in an appropriate manner.
• Assist in secondary operations such as installing grommets and taping banners.
• Learn all aspects of vinyl production which includes simple programming, plotting, and technical aspects of vinyl.
• Learn and develop a comprehensive understanding of the materials used in printing and sign production, including their proper handling, application, and use.
• Assist with various tasks and activities within the production area to support efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop area at all times.

• Physical requirements may include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time position.

Schedule:

Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed to meet customer requirements. 

Salary: This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Compensation is based on experience.
