Working horizontally across product teams and in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Business, and Product Strategy & Operations, this leader connects strategy to execution—ensuring priorities, investments, initiatives, and operating mechanisms come together as a cohesive product portfolio. This role serves as a strategic partner to Supply Chain Product leadership, bringing the enterprise perspective, product and technology fluency, and operating discipline needed to identify opportunities, resolve cross-team challenges, and accelerate business outcomes. What You'll Do... Drive Strategic Alignment

  • Identify gaps, overlaps, dependencies, and opportunities across teams and drive alignment on key decisions.
  • Develop data-informed narratives and recommendations that enable executive decision-making.
Establish Product Operating Excellence
  • Create consistent structures and rhythms for planning, prioritization, portfolio reviews, decision-making, and performance management.
  • Simplify processes, eliminate low-value work, and improve the speed and quality of decisions.
  • Partner with Product Strategy & Operations to shape and implement enterprise product practices, standards, and ways of working.
  • Continually identify best practices and opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness.
Connect and Optimize the Portfolio
  • Maintain a cross-product view of priorities, investments, dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure individual product roadmaps collectively advance Supply Chain and enterprise objectives.
  • Surface systemic issues early and mobilize leaders to resolve them.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse capabilities, reduce duplication, simplify solutions, and redirect resources toward higher-value work.
Orchestrate Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead complex, cross-cutting initiatives spanning multiple product, technology, and business areas.
  • Turn ambiguous opportunities and challenges into clear strategies, workstreams, ownership, and outcomes.
  • Build alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Remove barriers, resolve competing priorities, and maintain accountability for measurable results.
Influence and Partner Across the Enterprise
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior Product, Technology, and Business leaders.
  • Represent Supply Chain Product within the broader Product Strategy & Operations organization.
  • Bring product and technology fluency to strategic decisions, including platform opportunities, technical dependencies, modernization, and scalability.
  • Communicate complex issues through clear, compelling narratives that enable decisions and action.
What You'll Bring...
  • Significant leadership experience in product management, product strategy, product operations, technology strategy, enterprise transformation, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead horizontally across complex product portfolios and organizations.
  • Strong product, technology, business, and financial acumen.
  • Proven experience translating strategy into priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional executive communication, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, reconcile competing priorities, and build consensus without relying on direct authority.
  • Experience establishing effective operating models, portfolio management practices, and organizational rhythms.
  • Track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives and driving meaningful organizational change.
Leadership Expectations This leader will build trusted relationships across the organization, develop and coach high-performing talent, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement. They will model Walmart's values, maintain the highest standards of integrity, and keep customers, members, and associates at the center of strategic and product decisions. What Success Looks Like Success means the Supply Chain Product organization operates as one connected product portfolio rather than a collection of individual teams. Priorities are clear, dependencies surface early, decisions happen faster, resources focus on the highest-value opportunities, and teams understand how their work connects to the broader strategy and business outcomes.
