Our Networks: Supply Chain OperationsĀ Ā
The Supply Chain Operations Engineering teamsspan across three different networks, including Ambient, Grocery, and Fulfillment. As a Summer 2026 Process/Quality Engineer intern, you will be placed in one of thetwo networks described below:Ā Ā
Ā
- Ambient: The Ambient team is applying new network Process Guide playbooks and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities for a regenerative future. This team delivers value by maximizing efficiency across our supply chain and stores to better serve our Walmart customers.Ā
- Grocery: The Grocery engineering team supports the growing needs of the grocery distribution center network through leading savings projects within area of responsibility by taking loss out of the process to increase capacity, improve associate friendliness, and help grocery distribution centers to supply Walmart Stores and Samās Clubs with the quality groceries our customers expect.Ā

Each summer, we select the best and brightest for a ābehind-the-scenesā look at the worldās largest retailer at our Walmart Home Offices across multiple locations. As a Process/Quality Engineer Intern in Supply Chain, you willā¦Ā
- Design, implement, and improve engineered solutionsĀ Ā
- Use a process-driven and methodical mindset (or qualitative-driven and zero-loss mindset) to improve processesĀ Ā
- Perform industry research to identifynew programs and industry partnersĀ
- Identify short-term and long-term opportunities within Walmartās End-to-End (E2E) Supply ChainĀ
- Work with cross-functional teams, utilizing your engineering and project management skills to identify opportunities, propose solutions, design systems and demonstratefinancial impactĀ Ā
- Manage vendor relationships and program portfolios throughout the full product lifecycle including research & development, proof-of-concept testing, full-scale deployment, maintenance and KPI trackingĀ
- Contribute to the teamās strategy by developing business cases, writing white papers, and communicating findings at all levels of leadershipĀ

Minimum Qualifications:Ā
- Must be enrolled in a bachelorāsdegree program currentlyĀ Ā
- Expected graduation date between December 2026āAugust 2027Ā Ā
