What you'll do...

Role summary:
Lead the identification, scaling, and operationalization of field-facing technology solutions across Walmart Ambient Supply Chain operations. This role bridges operations, analytics, and technology by partnering with field teams and business leaders to transform high-impact ideas into scalable enterprise solutions. You will work across strategy and execution, driving modernization through analytics, automation, AI enablement, and operational technology. Success requires strong business acumen, technical understanding, stakeholder influence, and the ability to connect operational challenges with practical technology solutions.
About the team:
The team focuses on enabling scalable operational technology solutions that improve execution, visibility, productivity, and decision-making across supply chain operations. The team partners with field operations, industrial engineering, analytics, and Technology teams to identify innovative field-built solutions, establish governance models, and modernize operational capabilities. We operate in a fast-paced environment centered on ownership, collaboration, experimentation, and scalable impact while balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.
What you'll do:
  • Identify field-developed tools, automations, and analytics solutions with enterprise-scale potential
  • Partner with business leaders to gather requirements and align operational priorities
  • Translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions
  • Drive governance, sustainment, and standardization processes
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, analytics, and technology teams
  • Support modernization initiatives involving AI, visualization, and workflow automation
  • Present recommendations and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Lead initiatives from concept through deployment and adoption

What you'll bring:
  • Experience leading analytics, automation, or operational technology initiatives
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, engineering, or operations environments
  • Technical familiarity with SQL, Python, visualization tools, APIs, cloud platforms, or AI concepts
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
