Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Manufacturing Trainer I (2nd Shift) based at our Berea, KY manufacturing plant.Â

What you will do:Â
Deliver hands-on training to manufacturing employees, including new hires and current team members, to build skills, ensure quality, and support safe work practicesÂ
Develop and maintain training materials and certification programs for production processes, equipment, and systems, ensuring employees are qualified to perform their rolesÂ
Track and manage training records, certifications, and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate documentation to meet internal and regulatory standardsÂ
Partner with supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional teams to identify training needs, support process updates, and prepare employees for new product introductionsÂ
Coordinate and facilitate training sessions using a mix of classroom, on-the-floor, and digital learning methods, while maintaining an organized and effective training environmentÂ

What you will need:Â
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferredÂ
Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, facilitation, or onboarding, ideally in a manufacturing or operations environmentÂ
Â
Skills, Experience, & Abilities:      Â
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodsÂ
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and workplace safety standardsÂ
Experience delivering in-person and hands-on training in a production or technical settingÂ
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn training or HR systemsÂ
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and facilitating group sessionsÂ
Ability to track, analyze, and report training data accuratelyÂ
Basic mechanical or technical aptitude to support equipment and process trainingÂ
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training schedules and prioritiesÂ
