Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Berea, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control procedures, and support a secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, with awareness that working conditions may vary by location.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with site access restrictions, directing authorized personnel, and communicating relevant security-related information during changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
