Girls’ Director of Coaching (Full-Time)

Eastshore Alliance FC (EAFC) is seeking a full-time Girls’ Director of Coaching (DOC) to lead, develop, and elevate our Girls’ Competitive Program. This is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping the player experience, coaching standards, and long-term pathway development across the U9–U18 age groups.

EAFC is a growing, community-driven club committed to providing a clear and inspiring pathway from grassroots soccer through competitive performance and graduation. The Girls’ DOC will play a central role in advancing the club’s competitive identity, player retention, and developmental excellence.



Position Summary

The Girls’ DOC serves as the primary technical leader for the Girls Competitive Program and is accountable for its overall performance, culture, and player progression. The Girls’ Director of Coaching role provides strategic and technical leadership for all aspects of the Girls’ Competitive Program. The DOC is responsible for player development structure, coaching oversight, curriculum alignment, competitive standards, and pathway integration while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performance club culture.

This role, reporting to the Executive Director, requires a leader who is both a technical expert and program builder, capable of driving standards while supporting players, coaches, and families. 



Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Technical Direction

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the Girls’ Competitive Program

  • Establish and maintain consistent training, matchday, and developmental standards

  • Oversee curriculum alignment across all competitive age groups

  • Support long-term program growth, structure, and sustainability

Player Development & Pathway Oversight

  • Lead and refine EAFC’s Girls Player Pathway

  • Oversee player evaluation processes, progression decisions, and roster structures

  • Support appropriate player placement and movement

  • Communicate clearly with players and families regarding development and expectations

Coaching Leadership & Development

  • Supervise all Girls’ Competitive coaches (U9–U18) and recruit, assign, mentor, and evaluate Girls’ Competitive coaches

  • Establish coaching standards and professional expectations

  • Conduct regular coach observations and feedback sessions

  • Develop coach education initiatives and support staff alignment

Competition & Performance Environment

  • Guide league placement, tournament selection, and competitive strategy

  • Support high-performance environments within Competition & Performance stages

  • Ensure developmental objectives remain central to competition decisions

Retention, Culture & Player Experience

  • Lead initiatives that strengthen player retention and long-term loyalty

  • Support mentorship models, Graduation pathways, and player engagement systems

  • Foster a positive, challenging, and player-centered environment

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Oversee tryouts, team formation, and roster planning

  • Collaborate with club leadership on scheduling, staffing, and logistics

  • Maintain strong relationships with leagues, governing bodies, and partners

Qualifications & Attributes

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years of competitive youth coaching experience

  • Proven coaching leadership and program management experience

  • Strong technical and developmental understanding of youth soccer

  • Ability to mentor and develop coaching staff

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

  • Passion for long-term player development and club culture

  • Appropriate coaching licensure (USSF C License required; USSF B/ UEFA B/ equivalent or higher preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

This is an exempt, full-time, salaried position.

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
