Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Installer to join our team who builds our living walls, planters, and biophilic installations. This role requires hands-on construction experience, attention to detail, and a passion for bringing large-scale green projects to life.


Location: SF Bay Area

Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 am – 5:00 pm (hours vary by project)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement installation of living wall structural frameworks, waterproofing, irrigation plumbing systems, and planting
  • Install interior planters, exterior planters, and other green infrastructure products
  • Assist with fabrication of products at the Habitat Horticulture warehouse
  • Safely operate mechanical lifts including scissor lifts, boom lifts, suspended scaffolding, and forklifts
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from trucks
  • Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and team members to deliver projects on schedule and at high quality
  • Promote and uphold a culture of safety by following all company policies and adhering to applicable state and local safety regulations at all times


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years (verifiable) in finished construction and/or landscape construction
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with equipment and power tools used on commercial projects
  • Physical Ability: Able to carry 60 lbs. minimum and work from heights
  • Communicative: Reliable and clear communication over phone and online/mobile platforms
  • Professionalism: Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, flexible work hours, positive team-oriented attitude, and ability to take direction
  • Safety: Strictly follow all company safety policies, job site protocols, and applicable federal, state and local safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times


Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Aerial Lift Certification
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Ability to drive 16' Box truck


Additional Details

  • Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 20% annually for projects outside the Bay Area
  • Work Environment: Outdoor and indoor job sites, exposed to varying conditions
  • Schedule: Hours vary depending on project and client needs, generally between 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
