Experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person for the role!   As a Shift Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth business operations, and supporting the General Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading your team, maintaining service and quality standards, and fostering a fun and safe work environment. Shift Leads also step in to perform other team member duties as needed.   Here’s what we offer: Competitive pay: $20.00-25.00/hour, plus $2.75/hour in historically average tips PPO health insurance + Dental/Vision insurance Paid sick leave 401 (k) with company match Pre-tax spending accounts for health care, family care, and commuting Free, fresh, and healthy meals during your shift A discounted pair of high-quality non-slip shoes A Great Place to Work™ certification Opportunities for career growth and advancement Certified B Corp, we’re part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact   What we’re looking for: 1+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in the food service industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Team players with a calm and professional demeanor Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and leading by example Willingness to learn and embody our culture and values Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, repetitive reaching, bending, and twisting Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day, with intermittent breaks   Your Day-to-Day: Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude while assisting customers and resolving issues De-escalate and manage conflicts effectively Provide ongoing coaching and performance management for the team Ensure all employees are following the proper timekeeping practices  Ensure execution of proper cash handling procedures Complete daily cash deposits and record-keeping  Oversee store cleanliness, organization, and end-of-day tasks Work with the team and the Safety Ambassador to provide a safe environment for our staff and our guests Communicate and direct the team on food production for the day Ensure team members are following the MIXT recipe and production standards and procedures, as well as adhering to state and local health codes Assist the General Manager and MIT/AGM with inventory management  Any additional duties needed and/or assigned by your Manager   At MIXT, we’re driven by three core values: people, impact, and taste.
