About EBCLC The East Bay Community Law Center provides free legal services, advocacy, and education to under-resourced communities in the East Bay. We strive to center women of color and other historically excluded communities in the pursuit of thriving, equitable lives.

Volunteer Roles & Opportunities  EBCLC offers a variety of ways to engage:

  • Pro bono legal work (for qualified attorneys or law students) in practice areas such as Housing, Immigration, Health & Welfare, and Youth & Education Defense. 
  • Other Non-Legal Volunteer Support Roles: Help with outreach, communications, events, translation, or administrative tasks as needs arise.

Note: UC Berkeley law students seeking to volunteer through a Clinical Program should complete the process directly through the law school.
