POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the MGP Practice Manager the Operations Support Specialist is responsible to ensure efficient operation of the medical practice on a day to day basis and maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality and works within the policies and procedures of Central Vermont Medical Center. The Operations Support Specialist the primary resource for the providers, administrative, and nursing staff in the practice in addressing concerns or issues and provides solution-based problem solving.  Notifies and confers with Practice Manager on operational and personnel issues as they arise
 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in business administration or related field or 3 to 5 years equivalent of relevant leadership experience. 
 

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of physician practice operations and workforce development, working knowledge of health care financial environment, professional revenue cycle, practice support systems and related business operations.
