Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Riverside Cancer Care team in Newport News, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced oncology specialists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

What You’ll Do
- As a Nurse Practitioner on our oncology team, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage personalized care plans
- Perform pulmonology consultations
- Counsel patients and families on treatment options and care plans
- Prescribe and evaluate treatments and medications
- Document clinical findings accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cancer care experts
Our Areas of Expertise
You’ll support patients across a range of cancer specialties, including:
- Breast Cancer
- Colon Cancer
- Gynecologic Cancer
- Lung Cancer
- Prostate Cancer
What We’re Looking For
Education & Licensure:
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s in Nursing, current NP license, and board certification (FNP & PMHNP)
- Eligible for Virginia state medical licensure
- Valid DEA registration
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience in oncology or pulmonology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency
- A compassionate, team-oriented mindset
