Accounting Clerk-Berwick, PA 

1st Shift(Hours 8am-4:30pm) 

This Accounting Clerk is responsible for ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards( e.g., general ledger, cash payments, collections, tax transactions, etc.) Control/reconciliation of accounts and records(balance sheet, P & L, bank accounts, etc.).  Accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences(management reporting) and/or for external audiences(compliance reporting) including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, budget reporting, etc.). 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure cost accounting/budgeting(allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, budget preparation, etc.)  Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Credit & Collections. 
  
  • Accounting transaction/data entry, data verification, and records maintenance. 
  • General transaction recording and control/reconciliation of accounts. 
  • Performing some or all of the budgeting, cost accounting, internal financial reporting work. 

Skills Needed:

• Basic Accounting and Finance 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education: HS degree required, Bachelor's degree accounting desired.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years' Accounts Receivable experience Position Requires: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
