Job Description

  • Communicate and work with management and leadership to coordinate Inventory in all facets needed for CertainTeed,
  • Attend management meeting daily
  • Using teams and email to communicate specific job needs and issues through both OPA chats and VBC platforms
  • daily needs (Material Movements from Storage to Production)
  • scheduling inbounds and outbounds deliveries to sites
  • collaborate to standardize new processes/procedures
  • Identify issues with purchasing documents and resolve in real time
  • Material damage and quality issues
  • Control the movements and handling of materials during all processes, both physically and systematically
  • Receive materials systemically (SAP) and physically while upholding and following SOP processes and quality standards
  • Working directly with purchasing to ensure quantities and materials are accurate to what is ordered
  • Received paperwork is photographed and shared in a Teams Chat to be processed on CertainTeed’s SAP to mirror VBC SAP System.
  • Manage, organize, and process material requests from Production, Site, STOs, and other management needs both systematically and physically
  • Receive Site and Production returns systematically and physically
  • Organize, Coordinate, and process Site App Bundles
  • Using Builder Trend, retrieve Site App Bundle Drawings
  • Organize and correct/question any issues with management
  • Create pull sheets for Forklift Operators to pull, package, and label all bundles
  • Document and communicate all material shortages with management/purchasing
  • Transfer all Site Apps systematically and physically
  • Assist forklift operators with material movements when needed
  • Occasional Cycle counting to verify unrestricted stocking levels
  • Manage MRP for reordering purposes

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years inventory control experience preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to lift, push or pull at least 50 lbs. is required.
  • Must be able to work in non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel repetitively.
  • Ability to reach or work above the shoulder.
  • Ability to use a computer and/or tablet for daily work output. 
  • 4 Years of Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word software required. 
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
