Full-Time Banquet Server

Overview

Waynesborough Country Club is looking for an experienced, polished Full-Time Banquet Server to join our banquet & events team. You will help deliver world-class service across weddings, corporate events, private member functions, and large-scale banquets. Key Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to layout, ensuring table settings, linens, glassware, flatware, and décor meet club standards
• Serve food and beverage items during plated dinners, buffet functions, and passed hors d’oeuvres
• Manage multiple courses and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth timing and flow
• Clear, reset, and reset service stations during and after events
• Provide attentive service, anticipate guest needs, and address any issues promptly and courteously
• Assist with clean-up, breaking down room setups, and returning inventory to proper locations
• Uphold presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism in all guest interactions

Qualifications

Qualifications / Skills

• Minimum 3–5 years banquet or fine-dining event serving experience, preferably in country clubs, hotels, or upscale catering
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service, plated courses, buffet logistics, wine & beverage service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and move for long periods, and to carry trays, plates, etc.
• Detail oriented, reliable, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
