Job Overview and Requirements 
As a Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day servicing of large and complex commercial lines clients, maintenance of exceptional customer relations, and act as a generalist within our industries. You are a diligent team player who demonstrates a deep understanding of the issues and market trends related to our industries. You proactively identify areas of improvement and offer potential solutions to streamline the effectiveness of our service department.

Responsibilities 
  • Manage and retain existing book of business made of large and complex clients.  
  • Review and process bill renewals, new policies, and policy changes.  
  • Thoroughly review all commercial insurance policies for their accuracy, research coverage discrepancies until resolved, and communicate changes to insurance company.  
  • Handle coverage questions, research, and resolve problems.  
  • Interact with carriers and internal/external customers to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service and adherence to policies and procedures. 
  • Manage the process of renewal submissions for marketing including application(s), necessary exhibit(s), narrative(s), collection of loss runs and answers to underwriting questions. 
  • Acquire and disseminate new or reminder market information to leadership or the Service team. 
  • Identify areas of improvement and offer potential solutions to streamline effectiveness of the Service team.  
  • Submit applications to eligible and appropriate carriers and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.  
  • Perform other duties as may be required or assigned. 
 Required Skills/Abilities  
  • A valid resident Property & Casualty insurance license is required 
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, AMS360 and ImageRight. 
  • Knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this clearly to clients and underwriters. 
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, industry standards, and compliance best practices. 
  • Understanding of commercial insurance underwriting, coverage & rate analysis. 
  • Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude, and willingness to help others.   
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced environment 
 Education and Experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related program or equivalent experience in the insurance industry  
  • 4 years’ experience in full-cycle commercial lines property & casualty Account Management preferred
