A growing Chicago-based firm is seeking a Survey Manager to lead a team of survey professionals and manage both field and office staff.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 8 years of survey experience, and a PLS license, with management experience preferred.
Responsibilities include QA/QC of survey work, project budget comparisons, legal research, and business development.
Proficiency in MicroStation and/or Civil 3D, as well as Trimble survey software, is preferred for this role.
Salary for this position is commensurate with experience, and the successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Lead team of Survey professionals
Manage field and office staff
QA/QC of survey work
Compare project budgets
Perform calculations and legal research
Mentor and develop staff
Build/maintain client relationships
Some field work required
Business Development
Assist in Growth of Group

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree preferred
8+ years of Survey experience
PLS License
Experience designing/managing projects with IDOT, City of Chicago and municipalities
Management experience preferred
Proficient in MicroStation and/or Civil 3D preferred
Trimble survey software equipment/software experience preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
