A Chicago area firm is offering a long-term opportunity for ownership and partnership for a Senior Project Engineer.
The role involves overseeing municipal infrastructure projects, including pre-project planning and resident engineering.
Candidates must have a BS Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of Municipal Civil Engineering experience.
A PE License is preferred, along with IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification and knowledge of Civil3D and Microsoft Office.
Salary is commensurate with experience, and applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Oversee municipal infrastructure projects from start to finish
Duties including pre-project planning, preparation of construction plans/specifications, construction layout, and resident engineering
Communicate with municipal/government representatives and agencies
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

BS Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
5+ years of Municipal Civil Engineering experience
Transportation and infrastructure experience
PE License (preferred)
IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification
Working knowledge of Civil3D and Microsoft Office

Salary is commensurate with experience.
