We are seeking a talented and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team and contribute to our continued success. Job Summary: As a Line Cook at Waynesborough Country Club, you will play a vital role in preparing and executing dishes to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment, ensuring that every dish is prepared efficiently and meets our exacting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff, including sous chefs, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager or executive chef. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Assist in the preparation of daily specials and seasonal menu items. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Participate in regular kitchen meetings and training to maintain and improve cooking skills.
