A growing local Chicago firm is seeking to hire a Roadway Engineer to join their team.
Candidates must possess a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and have at least 5 years of roadway design experience.
The position requires a PE License for Illinois, with a PE License for Indiana being preferred.
Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and GEOPAK is essential, along with experience on IDOT/Illinois Tollway and CDOT projects.
Salary is commensurate with experience, and applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Requirements:

Prepare plans, specification and cost estimates for roadway improvement projects
Review and check engineering work completed by others
Coordinate projects with other disciplines
Build/maintain client relationships
Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
5+ years of roadway design experience
PE License for Illinois
PE License for Indiana preferred
Strong technical skills
Proficient in MicroStation, OpenRoads and GEOPAK
Experience on IDOT/Illinois Tollway projects and CDOT projects
Experience with Indiana/Michigan DOT projects preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
