Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water Systems Engineer to their Chicago Team!

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of project engineers and technical support staff
Develop hydraulic models of water distribution systems
Lead team in preparation of water system master plans
Evaluate/design of potable water facilities
Manage water distribution system study and design projects
Work with local, state, and federal permitting agencies
Perform quality control reviews of water models, reports, and/or design
Prepare plans/specifications for construction
Represent firm at municipal meetings
Prepare competitive proposals
Participate in interviews
Assist with business development

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
5+ years of potable water system analysis and design experience
Experience in consulting engineering, public works, or construction
PE License or ability to obtain through reciprocity
Expertise in potable water hydraulic modeling (including master planning)
Expertise with WaterGEMs and InfoWater Pro, plus ArcGIS
Knowledge of basic principles of water system design/plan preparation
Ability to travel to client and office meetings using own transportation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
