PERIMETER MAINTENANCE

 Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Perimeter Maintenance team member to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the exterior areas surrounding our warehouse facility. Work within safety guidelines and under the guidance of the maintenance supervisors. You will have the designated and necessary equipment in order to complete your duties as required.

What you’ll do:

• Exterior Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse exterior, including walls, windows, doors, and outdoor equipment.
• Litter Removal: Regularly patrol the exterior premises to identify and promptly remove any litter, debris, trash bags, cigarette buds, or other unwanted materials.
• Pressure Washing: Utilize pressure washing equipment to clean exterior surfaces, such as loading docks, walkways, and parking areas, ensuring a neat and presentable appearance.
• Routine Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of the exterior areas, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines while performing exterior cleaning tasks, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. 

Requirements

  Who you are:

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, as required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and 20-30 lbs. for approximately 50% of shift.
• Ability to go up and down stairs if necessary.
• Previous experience in exterior cleaning or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques, including pressure washing.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• The role primarily involves outdoor work and may require exposure to various weather conditions. Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate seasonal demands.
