We are currently seeking motivated and member-oriented individuals to join our team as a Mortgage Assistant.

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Mortgage Assistant to provide service assistance to members and the mortgage department by answering inquiries and researching and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Greets and welcomes members and guests. 

- Answers inquiries regarding general information on mortgage products.

- Processes departmental mail and scans loan file documents.

- Processes approved invoices and maintains departmental file retentions process. 

- Orders verification of employment for all loans going to closing.

- Prepares daily Trigger’s report for Mortgage Loan Originators. 

- Updates and creates departmental reports and the daily rate sheet on the intranet.

- Ensures paid-off mortgage loans are released in an accurate and timely manner.

- Types notices to county government offices.

- Posts the receipt of funds into the appropriate general ledger and maintains spreadsheet of department bills.

Qualifications: 

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- One year to two years of similar or related experience, preferably in the mortgage/lending industry.

- Exceptional customer service experience. 

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:

- Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 

- Saturday Hours 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Rotating; approx. once every 6 weeks)

- Full Time Employees have a 40-hour work week within the hours listed above.
