Job DetailsJob Location: Bethany Children's Health Center - Bethany, OK 73008Job Shift: Indirect CareThe Pharmacy Technician performs tasks involved in the preparation and distribution of medications in the inpatient and outpatient pharmacy setting.  The Pharmacy Technician works closely with pharmacy and nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of medications.  This position works under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Shift:  Monday- Friday 10:00am-7:00pm  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duty Percent of Time Prepares medications for dispensing including drawing up unit dose oral syringes, packaging tablets, and affixing labels for pharmacist review 65% Delivers medications throughout the Hospital 10% Customer service activities including answering the phone and resolving issues; assisting customers 10% Housekeeping duties including taking out trash, keeping the pharmacy free of clutter and maintaining a clean work station 5% May assist with staffing/coverage needs with the inpatient pharmacy 5% Other duties as assigned 5%   Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED.   Experience: 6 months’ experience as technician preferred, but not required.
