General Production Associate - 1st Shift

Job Summary

Bell & Evans is seeking dependable, safety-focused team members to join our Production team. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks related to poultry processing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Depending on business needs, you may work with live poultry or raw chicken products while helping produce high-quality products that meet our food safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Perform a variety of poultry processing duties while following all safety, quality, and production standards.
• Handle, inspect, process, and package poultry products.
• Debone, cut, trim, weigh, pack, and move products as assigned.
• Maintain product quality by following established inspection procedures.
• Keep your work area clean and organized while adhering to food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What We're Looking For

• Previous poultry processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to learn multiple production tasks and work in different departments as business needs require.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, and arms.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment.
• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas.
• Ability to work with live poultry or raw chicken products, depending on the assigned department.
