Production Associate

Position Summary

Join our team and play an essential role in delivering high-quality poultry products to families across the country. As a Production Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks throughout the poultry processing operation, working with either live poultry or raw chicken products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities may include deboning, cutting, trimming, weighing, packing, labeling, inspecting, palletizing, and moving poultry products while maintaining Bell & Evans' high standards for food safety, quality, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Sort, weigh, label, and package poultry products using manual and automated equipment.
• Fold liners, seal trays, and prepare products for shipment.
• Palletize trays manually or with automated equipment.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support production needs by working in different departments and positions as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.

What We're Looking For

• Previous poultry processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, motivated individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and work in various production areas.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working around industrial equipment.
