Position Summary
The HR Generalist serves as a key member of the HR Service Center, acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers. This role provides day-to-day HR support, ensures accurate HRIS and employee data management, supports onboarding and employee experience initiatives, and triages HR inquiries to appropriate Centers of Excellence (e.g., LOA/WC, Payroll, Total Rewards).
This position transitions from administrative support to a more proactive, employee-facing HR role focused on service delivery, process consistency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
HR Service Delivery & Employee Support
- Serve as the primary front-line HR contact for employee and manager inquiriesÂ
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programsÂ
- Triage and route complex issues to appropriate HR functions (LOA/WC, Payroll, HRBP, etc.)Â
- Ensure timely and consistent resolution of employee concernsÂ
HR Operations & Data Management
- Maintain and audit employee records in HRIS for accuracy and complianceÂ
- Process employee transactionsÂ
- Support documentation and tracking of HR activities and workflowsÂ
- Generate reports and support the tracking of HR metrics
Employee Experience
- Enhance employee experience through consistent communication and support
- Send out and analyze employee satisfaction surveys
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to leaders
- Assist in monitoring organizational culture
Process Coordination & Continuous Improvement
- Support standardized HR processes across locationsÂ
- Identify in efficiencies and recommend process improvementsÂ
- Assist in implementation of HR programs and initiativesÂ
- Maintain HR forms, templates, and documentationÂ
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Total Rewards teams to ensure data integrityÂ
- Support training and development coordination as neededÂ
- Provide administrative and operational support to HRBP teamÂ
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferredÂ
- 2+ years of HR or administrative experience (HR environment preferred)Â
Skills & Competencies
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) RequiredÂ
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsÂ
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretionÂ
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
