In this role, you will work to identify and proactively address hazards and risks through assessments of SunEnergy1 and the Company’s fleet. You will be responsible for administering and managing DOT Driver Qualification Files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, preventive maintenance schedules, vehicle inspections and FMCSA Hours of Service standards, management, and compliance of Driver-Logs, and NCOSHA/FEDOSHA.
Fleet Compliance Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for assigning the work activities according to the given time frame and reviewing the work of the contracted services or internal staff members.
· Confer with various departments regarding the needs and issues of vehicles that need to be addressed and ensure timely resolution of relevant conflicts and ensure that the vehicles are maintained and that they meet and are operating to safety standards and operate properly.
· Schedule and maintain statistical reports, files, and records related to maintenance, repairs, depreciation, mileage, etc., for various types of vehicles (e.g., OTR, Trailers, Forklifts).
· Submit and maintain documentation related to DOT FMCSA MCS1250, Clearinghouse, UCR, Motor Carrier, Insurance, and Bonds.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
· Associate degree in facilities management, building, business, or another related field.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 3+ years’ experience as a Maintenance and or Fleet Manager/Supervisor.
Fleet Compliance Coordinator Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Knowledge of NCOSHA/FEDOSHA
· Knowledge of related safety practices.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to proficient computer skills.
· Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees.
· Must be able to attend work regularly and reliably, according to the schedule established at the company's management discretion.
· Valid Driver License.
