Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a R&O Technician - B to join our team in Bethel, CT!
The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
The hourly range for this position is $24-$27Â per hour.

What you’ll do:
The FAA Certified Repairman is responsible for the maintenance functions of Bethel’s Repair Station and Customer Returns department.  Position requires compliance with customer specifications, manufacturer specifications, and applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s).  The person in this position will inspect proper technical techniques on articles of which they are certified.  FAA certification will only be acquired after working in the Eaton-Bethel Repair Station (it is not a certification that is transferable).
In this role, you will:
•   Assemble, setup, and complete maintenance of tooling
•   Perform leak testing operations
•   Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device
•   Perform visual inspection of parts
•   Maintain quality records
•   Interface and/or interpret internal customer and supplier requirements
•   Interpret external customer requirements
•   Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensors (ATP)
•   Pull parts from inventory, maintain proper counts, pull picking lists
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•   High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.Â
•   Minimum 2 years of experience with advanced troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components in a manufacturing environment required
•   No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
•   This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.Â
Preferred Qualifications:
•   Basic knowledge/experience of FAA regulations pertaining to Repair Stations and maintenance of aircraft components.
Additional Information:
This position requires routine exposure to chemicals as part of normal job duties. All necessary engineering controls and PPE are in place to protect the employee.
