ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the Intensive Care Unit at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This full-time opportunity is ideal for an RN with strong current critical care experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Position Details

• Position: Full-time RN
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Day/Night Rotating
• Weekends & Holidays: As needed

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university; or
• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university

Experience

• 2–3 years of current Critical Care experience in an acute care hospital setting

Certifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred

Licensure

• Valid nursing license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
