Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Bethesda, MD
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $90,000 – $104,000 per year

Summary
This position is ideal for a PTA who likes being active all day—teaching exercises, correcting form, and helping patients build steady momentum. You’ll work closely with the PT team to deliver consistent care, keep sessions productive, and make sure documentation reflects what’s happening in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Treat patients under a Physical Therapist’s supervision and direction
  • Demonstrate and progress exercises based on the established plan of care
  • Provide gait training, balance work, and functional movement activities
  • Monitor tolerance, pain levels, and performance during sessions
  • Support patient follow-through with home program instruction
  • Document treatment, progress, and response to care in the EMR
  • Assist with maintaining equipment and clinic readiness
  • PTA degree from an accredited program
  • Maryland PTA license in good standing
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Basic comfort with EMR/documentation systems
  • Strong patient communication and professionalism
  • 2 weeks PTO
