A Typical Week May Look Like This…

  • Own and evolve AFP's product strategy across membership, training, events, and digital products looking outwards at a one-to-three-year roadmap. 
  • Develop and maintain a customer-informed product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and revenue goals.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Technology, Finance, and Analytics to bring new products and enhancements to market within our key business drivers. 
  • Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Drive product lifecycle management, including pricing, positioning, business cases, and success metrics.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend improvements to maximize growth, profitability, and member value. The portfolio consists of, but not limited to, the membership product and its value proposition, learning programs, and event growth strategy. 
  • Lead strategic planning discussions and help prioritize initiatives across the organization.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing product strategy team while fostering collaboration and accountability.


Is This You?

  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading product strategy, product management, or portfolio management.
  • Demonstrated success developing and launching revenue-generating products or services that address the needs of corporate treasury and finance professionals.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including pricing, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Association, education, credentialing, SaaS, or professional services experience is a plus.
