About The Job

As a Pool Operator, you'll help keep our pool safe, clean, and ready for fun. You'll:

• Monitor pool water, temperatures, equipment, and safety standards
• Complete required logs, readings, and incident reports
• Keep the facility inspection-ready and secure
• Safely manage pool chemicals and equipment
• Provide great service to YMCA members, guests, and staff
• Help maintain a safe aquatic environment

What You Need

• Must be 17+
• At least 500 hours of experience
• Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Valid Pool Operator License for the facility's jurisdiction
• Ability to meet YMCA Lifeguard physical requirements
• If not currently YMCA-certified, must complete YMCA Lifeguard certification within 6 months

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift/move 60+ pounds and meet YMCA Lifeguard requirements, including swimming 500 yards, treading water, and performing various water rescues.
