General Summary: The CVIR Technologist will:
- Performs special diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac and Radiology areas, including interventional angiographic procedures, interventional diagnostic procedures, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all equipment components, including patient monitoring devices
- Maintains emergency equipment and procedure trays within the assigned CVIR department. Maintains adequate stock levels of required supplies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
- Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain licensure and/or certification.
- Current ARRT registry, Maryland licensure as Radiologic Tech or RCIS or RCES certification.
- Vascular Interventional Radiography or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification preferred.
- CPR Certification
- Minimum of one year Interventional Cardiology or Interventional Radiology experience!
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; (4) 10 hour shifts per week. Call is required.
Salary Range: Minimum 45.79/hour - Maximum 75.51/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
