Position Purpose

The Clinician provides recovery-oriented clinical services to individuals served by the Mainstay United residential program. This role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including those with a history of sexual offending behavior. The clinician is expected to deliver therapeutic interventions in alignment with person-centered practices and Recovery principles, while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Wage: $60,000

Job Type: Full Time 

Major Responsibilities

  •  The creation and ongoing maintenance of an environment that fosters a functional therapeutic milieu and is conducive to the personal safety, growth, and development of all consumers and staff
  • The provision of clinical services as part of a specialized and dedicated staff team Completing clinical risk and needs assessments
  •  Providing home-based and office-based recovery-oriented individual, family, and group therapy for service recipients
  •  Coordination with the residential direct support team to create a therapeutic milieu Collaboration with other specialized clinical services (e.g., O.T., art therapy)
  • Completion of documentation meeting clinical and state requirements 
  • All other related duties as assigned.
