We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Senior Field Engineer to support and oversee site contract work for construction projects from bidding through closeout. This role blends field leadership with construction administration, serving as a key liaison between project stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with design intent and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site contract work construction projects from bidding through closeout, coordinating multiple contractors, disciplines, and stakeholders
- Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, design staff, clients, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Manage construction administration processes (RFIs, submittals, change orders, payment applications) and maintain all project documentation and reporting
- Monitor project performance including schedule (CPM), budget, quality, and safety; identify risks and ensure compliance with design intent and regulations
- Support technical aspects of projects including site civil elements (grading, drainage, utilities), permitting, cost estimating, and mentoring junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, construction administration, or field engineering with full project lifecycle exposure
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract structures, and documentation workflows, particularly for multi-prime public bid contracts
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and design teams, on complex projects
- Familiarity with public-sector projects and permitting processes (municipal, DEP, DOT) preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $95,000 - $120,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
