We are currently seeking a proactive Cyber Security Engineer with proven technical expertise to help safeguard and strengthen our technological environment. A strong sense of ownership, critical thinking skills, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution are key to thriving in this position!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an integral member of our Technical Services Department, the Cyber Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security policies across systems and networks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a secure, resilient infrastructure that supports our overall business objectives.

You’ll be expected to:

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to system logs, vulnerabilities, security incidents, and support tickets.
• Lead and coordinate security testing efforts, including vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and social engineering exercises with internal teams and external vendors.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends to proactively defend against evolving threats and mitigate risks.
• Support system resilience through backup/recovery strategies, patch management, and high availability initiatives.
• Document, track, and drive remediation efforts while providing training, guidance, and support to IT staff and end users.

SCHEDULE + WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
• Location: On-site in our Bethlehem, PA office
• Flexibility: May work from home up to 2 days per week

Requirements

The successful candidate is naturally curious and continuously seeks out new knowledge to adapt to an ever-evolving landscape. You can collaborate effectively across teams, communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and remain calm under pressure when responding to incidents. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• Bachelors (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or technical school. 
• Minimum 6 - 8 years related experience and/or training; or 
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Direct experience with following systems (or comparable tools): Qualys, BitWarden, Varonis, MS Defender
