What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:
- Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and person-centered support plan.
- Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
- Administer medications according to established policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, community activities, and other necessary destinations.
- Support individuals with activities of daily living, including:
- Meal preparation
- Personal hygiene
- Toileting
- Household tasks
- Other individualized support needs
- Assist individuals with accessing community resources and supports, including:
- Medical appointments
- Social services
- Recreational opportunities
- Community-based programs
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and positive social interactions.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to implement support strategies and residential interventions.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and person-centered living environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer and internet proficiency, including email, timekeeping systems, and electronic documentation platforms
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete all required employment screenings and clearances, including FBI clearance where applicable
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Previous experience working in residential mental health, behavioral health, or human services settings
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Schedule based on program needs
- May include evenings, weekends, holidays, and community-based activities
- Flexibility required to support residential operations and individual needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
- Ability to safely transport individuals within the community
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
