As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. You will make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
  • Complete light electrical work and minor forklift maintenance.
  • Provide repair and maintenance of a wide variety of automated, semi-automated, and manual production equipment.
  • Support process improvement, quality improvement, and safety efforts.


You will make an impact in this role by:

  • Work with the Production, Engineering, and R&D on product/process development.
  • Update and maintain any existing maintenance software.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment malfunctions and recommend changes to increase equipment reliability.



Requirements


To be considered for the Maintenance Technician role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • A High School or GED diploma is required.
  • Technical training in technical fields including electrical, etc. preferred.
  • 1-3 years of facilities/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Preferred basic mathematics and algebra required. College level algebra, trigonometry, and/or geometry preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience basic PC/Windows operation required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
  • Industrial electricity, programmable logic controllers, pneumatics, hydraulics, ultrasonic welding, machine tool.
  • Must have excellent reason and decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction in English.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English to coworkers.
  • Safety and Personal Protective Equipment: Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
