What You'll Do

As a Residential Manager, you will:

• Oversee the daily operations of assigned residential homes and ensure high-quality services are provided.
• Supervise Lead Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Professionals.
• Create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals receiving services.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, and community participation.
• Promote independence, self-advocacy, and meaningful community engagement.
• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and manage employee schedules.
• Conduct employee training, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities.
• Monitor medication administration processes and support medication management compliance.
• Coordinate medical appointments and monitor health-related services.
• Maintain accurate documentation, consumer records, and electronic health records.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
• Monitor home safety, conduct inspections, and oversee emergency preparedness activities.
• Manage consumer funds, petty cash, and household budgets in accordance with regulations.
• Serve as an advocate and liaison with families, providers, and community resources.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three (3) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid non-provisional driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to supervise and support employees in a residential setting
• Ability to successfully complete required background clearances

Preferred

• Supervisory or management experience in a residential or group home setting
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Experience with medication administration and healthcare coordination
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to residential services
• Experience with behavioral support and crisis intervention

Schedule

• Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• Standard 40-hour workweek with flexibility based on staffing and program needs
• Participation in on-call rotation responsibilities
• Ability to respond to emergencies and support coverage needs
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, twist, and climb stairs
• Ability to drive and travel between program locations
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
