Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a part‑time Outpatient Clinical Dietitian – Maternal & Fetal Medicine (16 hours per week) to support Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown and Bethlehem, PA. In this role, the Dietitian will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to outpatients with Gestational Diabetes, supporting evidence‑based care and patient education. Previous experience with Diabetes Education or Gestational Diabetes is preferred.

Salary listed is the full‑time annual rate and will be prorated based on the number of hours worked.

  

What You'll Do

  • provide MNT for patients with Gestational Diabetes
  • Assist with program development, promotion/marketing, and screenings
  • educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
  • have the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and use good judgement to make decisions and work within a self-directed team-oriented work environment

What You Bring

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in PA
  • CDCES or desire to obtain the credential

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
