Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the corporate Environmental, Health and Safety department by assisting with environmental data collection, integration and analysis by Plants and/or business units, assess/evaluate opportunities to improve environmental data collection such as metering, updating solid waste profiles and waste vendors/suppliers.
The candidate will have the opportunity to assist with updating and improving compliance training templates. Â
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Natural Resources Engineering, Environmental Sustainability Management or any related EHS or applicable discipline.Â
Must have an expected graduation date in late Fall 2027, Spring/Summer of 2028
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Proficiency in Excel is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments.

- Possess strong leadership competencies, and strong team and analytical skills; strategic thinking skills; dedication and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team.
- Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions.
- Familiarity with laboratory analysis data.
- Familiarity with waste categorization.
- Familiarity with CAA, CERCLA, RCRA, and CWA regulations.
