Job DetailsJob Location: Steak 48 Beverly Hills LLC - Beverly Hills, CA 90212To fabricate proper meat and seafood cuts while adhering to product sensitivities, product specs, and proper ounce portions. To ensure that all food prepared meets Mastro Companies standard of excellence.QualificationsMajor Areas of Responsibility: 1) Properly removes fat from product prior to cutting 2) Portions steaks as needed. 3) Follows fabrication guidelines 4) Ensures that all food prepared meets Company’s standard of excellence 5) Keeps updated on recipe changes. Ensures proper execution of recipe procedures which maintain a high quality and consistent product 6) Keeps entire kitchen clean, stocks and sets up station 7) Completes assigned prep. Breaks down and cleans station thoroughly everyday 8) Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift 9) Operates and maintains equipment properly 10) Ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks product to par. Labels all products 11) Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken 12) Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position 13) Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and effectiveness 14) At all times provides a favorable image of the Company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor 15) Quality oriented in receiving of products, ensures wholesomeness and accuracy of the order received
