Job DetailsJob Location: Citrus County - Access Center - MRT - Beverly Hills, FL 34465Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $21.73Job Purpose: - The MA/MS Responder at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER will play a crucial role in providing immediate and effective mental health crisis intervention and support. This position is designed to respond to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring they receive appropriate care and guidance. The responder will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize situations, offer therapeutic support, and facilitate access to necessary resources and services. Key Responsibilities: - Respond promptly to mental health crisis situations, providing on-site or remote interventions as necessary. - Conduct thorough assessments of individuals in crisis to determine the appropriate level of care and intervention required. - Develop and implement crisis intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual. - Collaborate with other mental health professionals, law enforcement, and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to crisis situations. - Provide emotional support and counseling to individuals and families affected by mental health emergencies. - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all interactions and interventions in accordance with organizational and legal requirements. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in crisis intervention and mental health care. - Engage in community outreach and education efforts to raise awareness about mental health resources and crisis intervention services. - Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld in all interactions and interventions. QualificationsRequired Education: - Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Required Experience: - Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting, providing therapeutic services to individuals and families. - Experience in crisis intervention and management, with a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. - Familiarity with case management and treatment planning, including coordinating with other healthcare professionals and services. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, families, and healthcare teams. - Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. - Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software applications. - Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
