JOE’S J OB DESCRIPTION P R E MI U M DENIM  · LOS ANGELES RETAIL · STORE LEADERSHIP N O W HIRING Store Manager REPORTS TO District Manager DEPARTMENT Retail Stores EMPLOYMENT Full-Time · Exempt EXPERIENCE 5+ Years, Retail Management At Joe’s Jeans, the store is where the brand comes to life — and the Store Manager is the one who leads it. You create a customer experience that is unique, innovative, and inspiring at every touchpoint, bringing the Joe’s Jeans lifestyle and image to the floor while owning every aspect of store operations. This is a role built around results: you drive sales, protect profitability, and grow the business through disciplined selling, sharp clienteling, and a team that performs. Just as importantly, you build the talent behind those numbers — recruiting, training, and developing a retail team known for its service, its style, and its standard. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead the Team CULTURE & TALENT Lead, mentor, and motivate the team across leadership, visual execution, and expectations — through consistent feedback, clear accountability, and a culture of ownership and confident delegation. Set the tone from the floor with a strong, visible presence on every shift, and lead by example. Run productive morning huddles, all-store meetings, and ongoing training that keep the team aligned and inspired. Uphold an elevated standard of service, and hold the team accountable to Company policy and procedure. Network, recruit, and interview external talent on an ongoing basis to build a strong bench. Own the Customer Experience SERVICE & CLIENTELING Cultivate a customer-first, service-obsessed selling environment where every guest is styled, not simply served. Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active, hands-on role on the sales floor. Develop and maintain disciplined clienteling processes and standards, ensuring full associate participation and followthrough. Build deep product expertise — fit, fabric, construction, and the story behind the denim — and coach the team to sell it with confidence. Handle escalated customer concerns with poise, resolving them in the brand’s favor. Ensure the sales floor always meets Company standards in merchandising, visual presentation, and housekeeping. Drive the Business SALES & PROFITABILITY Own the number. Develop and execute plans to achieve personal, store, and profitability goals in a commissioned selling environment. Translate the plan for the team — sales targets, individual goals, KPIs, and store statistics — and keep them motivated to beat it. Partner with the District Manager to plan the business and build a monthly calendar of events and appointments that drive traffic and sales. Manage daily sales goals in real time using business reports and selling tools. Read the business — identify trends early and react quickly to protect and grow sales.Grow conversion, average order value, and units per transaction through disciplined selling behaviors and repeat-client relationships. Ensure the store meets all Company standards and complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. CRM Success — Driving Results Through Endear CLIENTELING · RETENTION · REVENUE Endear is our clienteling and CRM engine — and the Store Manager is its champion in the store. This is where relationships become repeat revenue, and where great outreach becomes measurable, attributed sales. Champion daily use of Endear across the team, leading by example and holding associates to a consistent clienteling rhythm. Build and maintain rich customer profiles — purchase history, preferences, sizing, and key dates — so every outreach feels personal, never transactional. Segment the client book using Endear audiences (total spend, last purchase, category, location) to surface VIPs, lapsing clients, and high-potential shoppers — then action them with targeted outreach. Drive personalized SMS and email campaigns — post-purchase follow-ups, new-arrival and restock alerts, birthdays, appointments, and VIP previews — using shoppable Endear Stories to turn conversations into sales. Own outreach attribution and revenue tracking: monitor messages sent, reply rates, and clienteling-driven sales by associate, and coach the team on what converts. Set clienteling goals and review campaign, team, and store performance in real time, turning Endear analytics into daily selling actions. Convert one-time buyers into loyal, repeat clients — growing lifetime value and comping the store year over year. Partner with the District Manager and corporate marketing to align store outreach with brand campaigns and reporting. Run the Store OPERATIONS & INVENTORY Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures — register funds, deposits, registers, and securing the store — in full compliance with Company procedure. Process POS transactions (sales, returns, and exchanges) quickly, accurately, and efficiently, and follow all merchandise and asset-protection policy to minimize loss-prevention risk. Build weekly schedules that align coverage to traffic and maximize selling potential and store performance. Manage inventory movement and receipts, and set the standard for a neat, organized stockroom with safe, efficient access to product. Monitor inventory levels and partner with the District Manager to maximize sales through replenishment and clear communication of product needs. WHAT YOU BRING 5+ years of managerial experience in a customer-service-focused retail environment required. Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business to drive sales results. Experience with CRM and clienteling platforms — Endear or similar — to drive outreach, retention, and attributed sales strongly preferred. Effective management, interpersonal, and communication skills — written and verbal — with strong analytical, problemsolving, and conflict-resolution ability across both customers and team. Proficient with POS and inventory-management systems, and with Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Joe’s Jeans is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
