Under general supervision and guidelines, set up tests, adjust and check tubes, sub-assemblies and electro/mechanical systems.

  • Maintaining a high level of quality workmanship.
  • Adhering to production schedules and workloads.
  • Informing next level of management of any problems relating to work in process.
  • May maintain and repair test equipment.
  • Maintain test records and production documentation.
  • Identify and recommend disposition of defective items.
  • May perform some rework, testing and troubleshooting of failed or returned assemblies
  • May be called upon to assist with the training of new and less experienced Technicians.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintaining a clean work area
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and quality assurance principles

Requirements/Qualifications:

Typically a two-year degree in a related discipline with greater than two (2) years directly applicable and progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Two years of directly applicable and progressively responsible experience may be substituted for each year of education.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to effectively relate to others and cooperate as a team member.
  • Ability to perform essential functions and responsibilities with general supervision.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and procedures.
  • Ability to operate various types of electrical and mechanical test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, cathetometer, micrometer and digital height gauges.

U.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).
