This position requires a high degree of independence, sound technical judgment, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams including Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Systems Engineering (SE), and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a self-driven problem solver with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, capable of working across multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and documentation.   Key Responsibilities · Build, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings · Perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause analysis at the device and system level · Support device builds, integration, and qualification activities · Collaborate with EE, ME, SE, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve system performance · Identify, document, and communicate technical issues and improvement opportunities · Inspect components and subassemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards · Maintain the electrical engineering lab, including tools, equipment, and daily operational needs · Maintain accurate qualification records, documentation, and change tracking using Jira and PLM/ERP systems · Work independently across multiple projects, meeting schedule and quality expectations Required Skills & Experience· Advanced hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical assembly · Excellent PC board-level assembly skills, including soldering, rework, and debugging of PCBAs (through-hole and surface-mount components) · Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings · Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and perform root-cause analysis · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision · Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills · High attention to detail and commitment to quality · Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams · Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) · Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace   Qualifications · Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or equivalent technical certification preferred · Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems · Experience working in a fast-paced engineering, automation, or manufacturing environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Familiarity with documentation practices, procedures, and work instructions · Experience with Jira, PLM, and/or ERP systems preferred · Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
