Cornerstones of Maine is seeking Full-Time Residential Counselor / DSPs to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our young adult clients in our greater Portland residences.




DSP/CRMA/MHRT and 2 years experience in mental health care required. CPR certification required by date of permanent hire.


Therapeutic Residential Advisors: 

  • Serve as a mentor and coach to residents
  • Supervise the residents as they go through their daily routines 
  • Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living, personal finances, cooking, and other household responsibilities
  • Provide client transport to and from locations throughout the community (drivers license required)
  • Administer crisis intervention as needed


These permanent, full-time positions are available for the following shifts:



Position #1 - Biddeford

  • Sunday 9:00AM - Monday 9:00AM
  • Monday 5:00PM - Tuesday 9:00AM

Position #2 - Portland

  • Monday-Friday, 12:00PM - 8:00PM

Cornerstones of Maine is a small residential treatment program designed to assist young adults (ages 18 to 28) in their journey to adulthood. We address the current need for therapeutic services for young adults who have significant potential but are struggling with mental health issues that are obstacles to their ability to live independently.
