SHIFT:Ā 8 Hour ShiftsĀ (32hrs./week)
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs as the PT department front office coordinator, interacting with the public (clients/families), scheduling patient appointments in person and over the phone. Collects co-pays according to policy.
Maintain that prescriptions, evaluations, progress reports, authorizations and discharge summaries are sent timely and maintained (scanned) in patientsā chart. Review daily the charge report to ensure accurate billing by Therapists. Review with Therapist any revisions or charge inconsistencies or corrections needed. Enter department statistics daily, ensure linen and supplies are ordered and sufficient for department needs. Assist the supply stocking and cleaning of department. Assist therapists at times when needed for patient treatment set up or take down.

- Provides assistance and support to the department director and Therapists.
- Accendibility for compliance with laws, regulations, and policies to demonstrate ethical behavior.Ā
- All other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ā
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) Required:
- BLS certification within 3 months of hire
Ā
Education (or substitute experience) Preferred:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or required work experience
Ā
Experience Preferred:
- Two years in a medical business office setting
Skills:
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of patientās statusĀ
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide working knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, office practices, systems and equipment including comprehensive computer skills
